Spring Breaks in Windermere

Spa Breaks in Windermere this Spring

Book you spring breaks in Windermere at our hot tub, boutique spa suites. Whereby you’re invited to choose from 1 of 3 rooms with a wonderful indoor hot tub. As part of an independent group of spa hotels, this particular property comes with a level of exclusivity.

Luxury Spring Breaks in Windermere

Located within the idyllic village of Bowness-on-Windermere, guests can visit one of the most popular regions of Cumbria. Not only that, but the boutique spa hotel is limited to just the 3 rooms, albeit part of a much wider independent group.

However, even then we’re still very much a bespoke entity. One that operates in close proximity to the beautiful Lake Windermere. As a result, the Windermere Boutique Spa Suites are in a prime location for a spring break like no other!

Please note as a small business, we have limited space available. As such, please feel free to follow us on social media or contact our reception directly for any last-minute availability.

The Lake District in Spring

Well, what can we say about the Lake District in Spring? It’s a time of year when you get the best of both worlds. One in which is often relatively quiet by comparison to those summer holidays yet comes with something uniquely special.

After all, springtime around the country has its moments. Whereby the Lakes are no different, with flowers coming into blossom and gradually more hours of daylight to appreciate the views. In fact, we’d recommend early morning walks or romantic picnics as the sunsets.

One such spot where you can appreciate both is Skelghyll Woods near Ambleside. Here you take a picturesque bike ride to Jenkin Crag overlooking Bowness-on-Windermere, with an abundance of bluebells along the way. Likewise, there’s a nice little spot to walk among the daffodils at Dora’s Field in the grounds close to St Mary’s Church.

Getting Around the Lake District

Elsewhere, river cruises in Coniston or the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway are a fantastic way to get around. Especially if you’re looking for transport links to further afield as even travelling into Cumbria to start with is just as much an adventure.

Not forgetting of course if you’re arriving by car, but most of all where possible we strongly recommend getting out and about on foot. The fells are well-respected for their walking routes and with a number of country pubs and restaurants available, you never know where you may end up!

Although that’s not to say you have to go very far. As many of the region’s most famous attractions aren’t too far away either. Including the likes of the World of Beatrix Potter, Brockhole Visitor Centre, Orrest Head or for something a little different maybe even the Lakeland pony trek?
