Keswick Film Festival

28th February to 3rd March. Starting on the last day of February, the Keswick Film Festival is an early highlight on the annual events in the Lake District. Expect a combination of old classic blockbusters alongside masterpieces by up and coming directors. Then there’s the now prestigious Osprey Short Films Awards.

Words by the Water Festival

8th to 7th March. The Lake District has been home to a number of famous poets, storytellers and authors over the years. Beatrix Potter, William Wordsworth, Alfred Wainwright to name a few. This festival, also in Keswick, gives the chance for writers to get together, feeding ideas off each other and meeting like-minded souls.

Cumbria Life Home & Garden Show

15th to 17th March. Taking place at the Rheged Centre in Penrith, the event is likely to attract 100’s of visitors to the Lake District in March 2019. While staying in Cumbria, it will give you the chance to learn new skills and embrace fresh ideas.
